12/21/20 - This holiday season it's especially important to help take care of one another. I'm raising funds to help my friend Walter who is faced with an inconceivably devastating combination of terrible circumstances. A few months ago, Walter's father passed from ailment. Shortly after, Walter was evicted and forced into a situation preventing a proper move-out, resulting in the loss of many personal possessions and writings. Walter is now looking for housing and support while dealing with multiple traumas.

I know everyone is struggling right now, but if you have enough stability to support more than yourself, consider that there are people who are disproportionately impacted by the pandemic and the system, who don't always have a safety net. Anything you can give will help Walter with basic survival needs, and means to find a new home as safely as possible.

100% of profits from my entire catalog will go to help Walter. However, Walter's struggle is not a platform that I am using to promote my music, rather I'm using my music to reach people who wouldn't normally be aware of this. If you have the means and need incentive to provide support, purchase this music for any amount, knowing that every cent that doesn't go to Bandcamp or PayPal will be delivered to Walter. If you have capacity for generosity, I urge you to give directly to Walter on venmo, as there will be no fees extracted.

lyrics

Your last brick
fell the slowest
And silence was quick
to consume its essence

Even the tallest structures were no match
Lethe's moonlit waters rise, and in the end they all collapse

Because the ocean took it all took it all

Beams crack and bend
But they show no signs of rot
Couldn't hold the stories up anymore
I guess they simply forgot

Because the ocean took it all took it all
Back to where it was before we met

I need you to hold me close
because I am afraid
That one day mine and yours and theirs
will be the same fate
And I know it's all a lost cause
as you crumble on the inside
Because I thought I'd tried and tried
to keep your towers within sight

Until the ocean took it all
